Axis Bank:
Axis Bank Ltd., the third largest private sector lender, will be in focus ahead of fiscal third quarter earnings. The lender is likely to report a 73.7% Year-on-Year (YoY) fall in net profit to Rs 5.72 billion, but on a quarter-on-quarter basis, the net profit could grow by 79.4%.
Cipla Ltd:
Cipla Ltd., the drugmaker, will be in focus after it said its arm Goldencross Pharma Pvt Ltd has entered into an agreement to sell its 100% stake in Four M Propack to Shriji Polymers for Rs 192 million.
Hatsun Agro Ltd:
Hatsun Agro Ltd., the largest private sector dairy, will be in focus after it reported 64.5% on year growth in the net profit to Rs 288 million for the quarter ended December 31, compared with Rs 175 million reported in the year-ago period.
KPIT Technologies Ltd:
KPIT Technologies Ltd., software services provider, will be in focus after it posted a net profit of Rs 730.6 million for the quarter ended 31stDecember 2016, up 2.1% over the corresponding quarter last year, and up 30.98% over the previous quarter.
Monnet Ispat Energy Ltd:
Monnet Ispat Energy Ltd., the sponge iron maker, will be in focus after Sajjan Jindal's JSW Steel, Sudhir Maheshwari-led Synergy Capital and global private equity fund Blackstone are in discussions with lenders for a controlling stake in Monnet Ispat Energy through the strategic debt restructuring (SDR) route, said a media report.
Orient Green Power Ltd:
Orient Green Power Ltd., the largest operator and developer of renewable energy, will be in focus after Infrastructure Leasing and Financial Services (IL&FS) is in advanced talks to merge its wind energy assets with the company.
Pfizer Ltd:
Pfizer Ltd., the world's largest drugmaker by revenues, will be in focus after it has warned that a strengthening dollar would be "a very big challenge" for the company in 2017, raising concerns for US corporations that generate a significant percentage of sales from overseas, said a media report.
Sasken Communication Ltd:
Sasken Communication Ltd., software service and broadband provider, will be in focus after it reported 34% on quarter growth in the net profit to Rs 120.9 million for the quarter ended December 31, compared with Rs 90.6 million reported in the year-ago period.
Uttam Galva Ltd:
Uttam Galva Ltd., the largest manufacturer of cold rolled steel will be in focus after Aion Capital Partners -- a joint venture between Apollo Global Management, one of the world's largest distress asset investors, and ICICI Venture is planning to throw a lifeline at the troubled steel maker Uttam Galva.
Yes Bank Ltd:
Yes Bank Ltd., the fifth largest private sector lender, will be in focus ahead of fiscal third quarter earnings. The lender is likely to post 17% on year growth in net profit to Rs 7.95 billion, Kotak Institutional Equities said in a note.
