Gammon Infrastructure Projects Ltd., the infrastructure developer, will be in focus after it reported increase in net profit during fiscal second quarter. For the quarter ended September 30, 2016, Gammon Infra posted a net profit of Rs 28.3 million against Rs 21.5 million in the corresponding quarter last year.

Gitanjali Gems Ltd:

Gitanjali Gems Ltd., the jewellery maker will be in focus, after it informed exchanges that Nakshatra World, a wholly owned subsidiary of Gitanjali Gems decided to raise funds through an Initial Public Offer of equity shares for an overall amount of not exceeding Rs 6.50 billion, subject to requisite statutory and other approvals, procedures, market conditions and other relevant considerations.

Cipla Ltd:

Cipla Ltd., the drug maker will be in focus after it revealed fund raising plan through issue of equity shares or American depository receipts or global depository receipts or foreign currency convertible bonds etc on December 19.

Infosys Ltd:

Infosys Ltd., the second largest software services exporter will be in focus on informing exchanges of investing in ideaForge, an Indian startup focused on Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) solutions.

Jagran Prakashan Ltd:

Jagran Prakashan Ltd., the publisher of Dainik Jagran Hindi news paper, will be in focus after it reported 14.23% rise in standalone net profit at Rs 754.5 million for the quarter ended on September 30, 2016, helped by higher digital advertising revenue. It had reported a net profit of Rs 660.5 million in the July-September quarter of the previous fiscal.

Jammu & Kashmir Bank Ltd:

Jammu & Kashmir Bank Ltd., the state run lender will be in focus ahead of its financial results for the quarter ended September 30, 2016 later today.

Mandhana Retail Ventures Ltd:

Mandhana Retail Ventures Ltd., the company which sells apparels under Salman Khan's 'Being Human' brand, will be in focus after ace investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala is in talks to buy up to 15% stake in the company from its promoters, according to media reports.

Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd:

Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd., the state-run telecom company, will be in focus after it reported a standalone net loss of Rs 7.68 billion for the quarter ended on September 30, 2016 against Rs 7.30 billion in the same period a year ago.

Petronet LNG Ltd., the liquefied natural gas importer, will be in focus after on rating upgrade. Moody's Investor services upgraded the company's rating by withdrawing its corporate family rating and assigning 'Baa3' issuer rating amid revising outlook to positive from stable.

SRS Ltd:

SRS Ltd., the diversified company, will be in focus after it posted a standalone net loss of Rs 202.2 million in the second quarter of this fiscal due to sluggish sales. It had posted a net profit of Rs 142.4 million in the same period last year.

Sujana Towers Ltd:

Sujana Towers Ltd., the telecom tower infrastructure provider, will be in focus after its net loss widened to Rs 1.04 billion for the quarter ended September 30, 2016 against a net loss of Rs 152.4 million in the corresponding quarter last year.

TCI Express Ltd:

Equity shares of TCI Express will be listed on bourses on Thursday. "Trading Members of the exchange are hereby informed that effective from December 15, 2016, the equity shares of TCI Express Ltd are listed and admitted to dealings on the exchange in the list of 'T' Group Securities," BSE said.

Technocraft Industries Ltd:

Technocraft Industries Ltd., will be in focus after it reported 28% rise in net profit at Rs 278.5 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2016 against Rs 217.6 million in the corresponding quarter last year.

Vardhman Special Steels Ltd:

Vardhman Special Steels Ltd., the special steel maker, will be in focus after it informed exchanges that it has undertaken expansion activities in its steel melting shop. The capacity of steel melting shop has been increased from existing capacity of 125,000 tones per annum to 160,000 tones per annum.

Wipro Ltd:

Wipro Ltd ., the third largest software services exporter will be in focus after it allotted 2,353 equity shares under ADS RSU Plan 2004 to the employees on December 13, 2016 pursuant to exercise of ESOPs.
