Ashok Leyland Ltd., the commercial vehicle maker, will be in focus after the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Chennai approved merger of Hinduja Foundries Ltd with Ashok Leyland Ltd.

Biocon Ltd:

Biocon Ltd., a drug maker, will be in focus after its consolidated net profit dropped 58 % to Rs 1.48 billion in the quarter ended on March 31, 2017, compared to year ago period. The company had reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 3.54 billion in the quarter ended on March 31, 2016.

Ceat Ltd:

Ceat Ltd., the tyre maker, will be in focus ahead of release of earning for fiscal fourth quarter to March 31, 2017 today.

DCB Bank:

DCB Bank., a private lender, will be in focus on raising Rs 3.78 billion through an issue of shares to qualified institutional investors on private placement basis. The lender offered 2.17 billion equity shares to qualified institutions buyers under the QIP at an issue price of Rs 174 per share

HDFC Bank:

HDFC Bank, a private lender, will be in focus after it raised Rs 50 billion in a perpetual bond sale for the first time as the lender seeks to support its capital.

Indiabulls Real Estate:

Indiabulls Real Estate., an infrastructure company, will be in focus after it reported 19% increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 798 million for the quarter ended March. Its net profit stood at Rs 672 million in the year-ago period.

Jubilant Life Sciences Ltd:

Jubilant Life Sciences Ltd., the local drug maker, will be in focus after the company decided to issue commercial paper
of Rs. 750 million.

Kotak Mahindra Bank:

Kotak Mahindra Bank., a private lender, will be in focus after it recorded net profit 40% to Rs 9.76 billion on the back of increase in loan growth and other income. Meanwhile, the lender also decided to buyout Old Mutual's 26% stake in Kotak Life for Rs 12.93 billion.

Maruti Suzuki Ltd:

Maruti Suzuki Ltd., India's largest car maker, will be in focus after it recorded net profit of 16% to Rs 17.09 billion on higher revenue.

Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Ltd:

Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Ltd., the state-owned largest Oil and Natural Gas explorer, will be in focus after it made 23 oil and gas discoveries in the fiscal year ended March 31 as a record number of wells drilled helped it uncover new reserves.

Prism Cement Ltd:

Prism Cement Ltd., the cement maker, will be in focus after it received letter of Intent from Madhya Pradesh Government for allotment of cement grade limestone mining lease for 50 years, Madhya Pradesh, with about 23.6 million tons of reserves, subject to completion of formalities.

TVS Motors Ltd:

TVS Motors Ltd., the maker of Apache, Victor two-wheeler, will be in focus after the company's net profit fell 6.8% to Rs 1.27 billion on lower sales.
